Sam is a Colorado native with 11 years of experience in retail and guiding. He grew up in Steamboat Springs, CO where he learned to fly-fish, hunt and ski at an early age. After graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Economics, Sam returned to Steamboat to combine his passion for the outdoors with a career. Sam is our agency's hunting expert. When he isn’t chasing elk with his bow, he can be found bird hunting, kayaking, or torturing trout on the Yampa River. When asked if he remembers learning to Ski, Sam replies “do you remember learning to walk?” Sam's latest endeavor is helping ensure the renowned Steamboat fireworks displays go off with a bang. |
